Jewelry-making workshop
Join me for a private one-to-one jewelry-making workshop in my boutique, Valeria Boncompagni, located at number 130 in Piazza San Marco, overlooking the orchestra of the Caffè Quadri and the Basilica.
During this jewelry-making workshop you will be introduced and get to practice with the ancient technique of lost-wax, a method of metal casting in which a molten metal is poured into a mold that has been created by means of a wax model.
It is an immersive practical hands-on experience, aimed at the creation of a unique piece of jewelry, typically a ring or a pendant. I will guide you through the entire process and help you improve your manual skills and give a physical shape to the design of your dreams. Once created the design, it is possible to have it fused and add other finishes.
The workshops are suited for students of all levels and are held in English or Italian. Addressed to an international audience, these lessons aim not only at introducing the lost-wax technique, but also at creating a magical experience, during which the students will be able to slow down, take time for themselves and listen to their soul.
Our hands allow us to express rational thoughts and emotions at the same time, and creating a jewel is definitely a very emotional affair.

Cost: 150,00 eu. Ideal for those who are in Venice only for a short time but still want to take the opportunity to experience an artisan craft and familiarize with the lost-wax technique in a unique context.
6 Lessons | Jewelry-making Workshop, Venice Duration: 6 lessons, each lesson is 60 minutes Cost: 350,00 eu. Ideal for those who want a more immersive experience aimed at the creation of their own jewel.
